Information for Patients and Visitors
Patient's Admission
Admissions are made round the clock. However, all admissions are subject to availability of Beds. An initial deposit has to be made at the time of admission with the Accounts Department. Right of patient admission is reserved with the management.
Billing
Daily medical expenses and bed charges are added on to the patient's bill. Patient party is requested to maintain sufficient positive balance commensurate with the type of room that the patient occupies. For discharge made on holidays and after office hours, final bill will be issued on the next working day only. Patient party may be required to make additional deposit during his/her hospital stay depending on his account status. Medical and surgical procedures will require the patient to deposit the charges before the procedure is carried out. All payable deposits will be informed to the patient party regularly through the statement of Account. Refusal to comply with the above terms will entitle the management to stop medical services and/or discharge the patient. The final bill will be issued at the time of discharge. Billing details will be available at the Accounts Department during working hours only.

Sunday to Friday 10: 00 AM to 5: 00 pm (Except on holidays)
Deposit Refund
No refund will be made on Holidays.
Hospital Service Charges
Charges are levied as per the rule and regulations of Government of Nepal on the total bill amount. Hospital also levies 10% Hospital Service Charge on the bill.
Consultant Charges
Consultant's beside visit is charged one visit per day as per the defined rate. Any additional visits required from visiting consultants will be charged separately as per their fees. The amount and details will be included in the final bill.
Patient Discharge Timings
Discharge timings are from 10: 00 am to 5: 00 pm. There will be no discharge on Saturdays & Public Holidays.
Patient Attendant
Only one attendant per patient will be allowed to stay in the room or ward. No attendant is allowed to stay with the patient in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Surgical ICU (SICU) and Coronary Care Unit (CCU)

During above-mentioned visiting hours, only one visitor at a time will be allowed to see the patient.
No visitors will be permitted inside the hospital during doctors' round. Children below 12 years are not allowed to visit the patients.
Use of Electrical/Electronic Appliances
Electrical & Electronic devices like Tape Recorder, Transistor, Walkman, Camera, Heater, Electric Kettle, Juicer, Blender, Iron and any other electronic appliances are not allowed in the Hospital. Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the nursing areas.
Food
Patients' party may bring home food for the patient as per the advice of the doctor/dietician; however, hospital's Cafe' also serves hygienic food to the patients.
Bedding & Clothes for the Patient
Outside bedding & clothes are not permitted in the Hospital for hygienic reasons. Clothes for the patients will be provided by the hospital. Beddings are available free of charge for the patient attendant.
Valuables
Patients are requested not to keep any valuables with them at the hospital, or leave them unattended in the ward, room or in the vehicle. The hospital authorities will not be responsible for any kind of loss or damage. Anybody leaving valuables unattended
will be doing so at their own risk and responsibility.
Parking
Vehicles are to be parked at the parking area at owners' risk. The hospital will not be responsible for any kind of damage or loss.
Smoking/Alcohol
Smoking and consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited at the hospital premises. Hospital administration may ask such persons breaking the rules of the hospital to leave the hospital premises.
Security
Security personnel have been instructed to check personal belongings while entering and leaving the hospital, if necessary. Please co-operate if a check is requested.
Visitors without Pass
Visitors entering inside the hospital building must obtain and wear the Visitor's Pass. The security personnel can restrict anybody inside the hospital found without visitor's pass.
Right of Admission
The management reserves the right of admission at the hospital premises and the right to change, modify, introduce new rules as deemed necessary from time to time.
Flowers
Due to health reasons Flowers / Bouquets are restricted inside the ICU & CCU wards.
Parking refund
Expenses incurred by the patient party for parking during hospitalization period of the patient shall be refunded as a goodwill gesture at the time of discharge.
