We have programmes in both gynecology and obstetrics, for prevention and early detection of disorders like Cancer of Cervix, Vagina & Vulva. Our Women check-up plan is designed to detect the earliest signs of disorders of the breast and the organs of reproduction, and takes care of your contraceptive needs. An ultrasound scan of Pelvis and a Pap-smear of the Cervix is an integral part of our Women check-up plan.

We offer pain relief in labour by Psycho Prophylaxis (antenatal classes), Entonox, Epidural, T.E.N.S. and Water Births are also offered according to individual needs. We have post graduate trained obstetricians monitoring the condition of mother and child round the clock, under guidance of country's senior most consultants.

We have highly trained obstetricians to look after patients with high-risk pregnancies such as those with diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, anaemia, previous pregnancy losses and growth retarted babies etc. through the pregnancy as well as labour backed up by a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Our consultant Gynaecologists provide specialist medical as well as surgical management of all types of gynaecological problems like Menstrual Abnormalities, Prolapsed Fibroids Tumors of the Uterus and Ovaries, Tubal Recanalisation by Microsurgery and treatment of Infertile Couple. High-risk surgical patients (such as those with high BP, heart disease etc.) are taken care for with special monitoring in the OT and then in the surgical and medical ICU as backup if required.

Treatment of genital cancers like those of Uterus, Cervix, Vagina Vulva and Ovaries, is done in co-ordination between the trained Gynaecological Oncosurgeons and Medical Oncologists for optimal care during surgery, subsequent care and follow up.

Neonatology is a specialized care of the Sick and the New born, including Premature and Tiny babies. The advent of newer therapeutic modalities, artificial life-support techniques and infection control mechanism has tremendously decreased mortality in newborn, ushering into a new era in Neonatal medicine. The Neonatal ICU at Norvic is equipped with all the latest facilities for the newborn.

The Neonatal ICU is manned by experienced neonatologists and nurses, working round the clock as a team. Infection rate, the most important cause of mortality in the new born has been a major stumbling block in reducing the number of Neonatal deaths especially in the developing countries.

These advances, backed by conventional Neonate management technology (incubators, computerized monitoring including blood pressure, oxygen levels in the blood, blood gas analysis etc.) would be of no use unless a skilled, dedicated professional team utilizes them. The ICU team is highly qualified with required level of experience and is capable of dealing with complicated surgical cases.
